Overview

EN36 is a nickel-chromium case-hardening steel designed to provide a hard, wear-resistant surface with a tough and ductile core.

Heat Treatment

Mechanical Properties

  • Very hard wear-resistant case
  • Tough core
  • High fatigue resistance
  • Good impact resistance
  • Case hardness can reach approximately 60 HRC+, depending on carburising and treatment
