Plastic mould steels are developed for the manufacture of injection moulds, mould bases, inserts and other tooling components where machinability, dimensional stability, polishability and adequate strength are important. P20 and P20 High Hard are widely used for mould tooling, with P20 HIgh Hard offering improved through-hardening and toughness for larger sections.
